If you are considering making the move into one of our care homes, you are most welcome to make regular visits and enquiries into our services to get a feel for what we have to offer. Prior to admitting any resident, we take the time to talk to you and your families to find out as much as we can about your needs and wishes through a pre-admission assessment. We encourage residents to continue to live their lives however they wish and we will support you in every way we can. We enable people to remain as independent as possible and support them to live as they choose to. We encourage residents to participate in meaningful and purposeful activities such as cooking, gardening and shopping and, indeed, to continue to pursue their own personal interests and hobbies.
Tilsley House has an enabling environment with a large, open communal areas and a large easily accessible garden. Earlfield Lodge has many common areas such as lounges, dining rooms and outside spaces
We will draw up a personalised care plan for each of our residents that reflects their specific care needs and preferences.
We will make every effort to ensure that all our staff members have the required training, knowledge and experience to support you whilst ensuring you can exercise choice to live as you wish to.
Where possible we employ care staff with at least a Care Certificate or equivalent qualification. We encourage Senior Care staff to achieve at least a level 3 QCF qualification. All staff are supervised and appraised on a regular basis and monitored to ensure high performance levels.
We recognise that quality assurance is an integral tool for monitoring and developing our services. To assist in this, we are continuously investing in software and technology to support the standards of care we provide. The home's management staff also conduct regular audits of all aspects of the home, ensuring that standards and expectations are being met accordingly.
We would like to think that everyone coming into contact with our services can be our partner in driving up the quality of our care. We therefore, actively encouraged stakeholders to share with us their views on the services and facilities which we provide. Additionally, surveys are distributed twice yearly for residents, relatives and other professionals to feedback on all aspects of our service.
