Day care, Respite & Enablement care

Day care and respite care 

Day care and respite care packages are designed to give a resident's normal carer an occasional break. We offer a number of supplements such as meals, provision of personal care and bathing. It is also a chance to socialise with other residents or take part in activities or special occasions. Day care and respite residents can also make use of hairdressing and chiropody facilities that may be available of that day, although these incur additional fees.

Day care would also suit people living alone to give them opportunity to socialise with others.

Enablement care

We are able to support people who stay with us for a short while to recover or recuperate, for example, from a hospital stay. During their time with us, which may be for just a few weeks, we support them to regain their strength, independence and confidence to be able to return back home. In other words, we aim to rehabilitate individuals for a brief amount of time within a fully staffed care home environment before re-introducing them back into their community or homes.

We also work closely with Social Workers, physiotherapists, nurses to design the best enablement packages possible to ensure these residents can return home as soon as possible. Working closely with various therapists and external professionals, we aim to support individuals to improve their mobility and even in gaining confidence to return back home.
